To you, O Indra, the songs are the mighty powers; to you the priests offered victims, hail them with libations. The newly risen friend, clothed in strength, comes from the invigorating waters as a companion in vigor.
To you, Indra, (the pious) address prayers, and praises, and sacrifices; accept them, lord of horses; give all things, partake of this present oblation, and grant food to the worshippers.
To thee, O Indra, Lord of Bays, for ever are offered prayers and songs: accept them gladly. As Kinsman think thou of some fresh assistance; good Friend, give strength and life to those who praise thee.
