From a hundred deeds the mighty stream, the powerful man — the voice of men — go to Indra from all sides. The prize of strength was obtained formerly; swiftly they reached the abodes, celebrated by the knowers of heaven.
My praises constantly propitiate Indra, the object of many rites, the sender of rain, attended by the Maruts, the leader (of all), the giver of food, the destroyer of cities, the swift (in combat), the prompt (dispenser) of waters, the distributor of riches, the subduer of foes, the conferrer of heaven.
To Indra from all sides go forth my songs of praise, the Lord of Hundred Powers, strong, Hero, like the sea, Swift, winner of the booty, breaker-down of forts, faithful and ever-glorious, finder of the light.
