Agni stood on the sacred seat, oily with clarified butter; the people entered, the strong ones pressed in. Glowing, pure, resplendent, the purifier again and again—who is like a mother renewed?
Agni has taken his station in an asylum, brilliant, much-lauded, and as desirous (of receiving him) as he is (torepair to it); radiant, pure, vast and purifying, he repeatedly renovates his parents, (Heaven and Earth).
Agni hath entered longingly the longing shrine rich with fatness, giving easy access. Resplendent, pure, sublime and purifying, again, again he renovates his Mothers.
