That Soma which Indra did not take—the earth, the skies, the womb of the year—was not held by the mother for you. They strike him down; the bulls, the thunderous, they cleanse him, O mighty ones.
Which Soma, Indra, the heaven and earth, containing for you, as a mother contains the embryo; showerer (of benefits), the priests pour it out for you they purify it for your drinking.
The Soma, Indra, which the earth and heaven bear for thee as a mother bears her infant, This they send forth to thee, this, vigorous Hero! Adhvaryus purify for thee to drink of.
