pra mātrābhī ririce rocamānaḥ pra devebhirviśvato apratītaḥ pra majmanā diva indraḥ pṛthivyāḥ prorormaho antarikṣādṛjīṣī
Indra, shiningly famed among the measures and hymns, widely present to the gods, incumbent without rival; by the great mass of strength Indra rushed forth from earth and sought the broad mid-air.
The resplendent and every way unlimited Indra, drinking the spiritless Soma, far surpasses the elements, (far exceeds) the gods in power; he is more vast than heaven and earth, or the widespread spacious firmament.
He hath surpassed all measure in his brightness, yea, and the Gods, for none may be his equal. Impetuous Indra in his might cxccedcth wide vast mid-air and heaven and earth together.
