Indra, drink of the bull‑press; may strength of thy steed be thine, may the eagle‑spear protect thee. He in whose greatness thou rejoicest, whose farm grows from thy might—his kine and lineage prosper.
Drink, Indra, of the bountiful (libation) expressed by the beneficent (stones); that which the falcon has borne to you desiring it, in whose exhilaration you cast down (opposing) men, in whose exhilaration you have set open the clouds.
Drink of the strong pressed out by strong ones, Indra, that which the Falcon brought thee when thou longedst; In whose wild joy thou stirrest up the people, in whose wild joy thou didst unbar the cow-stalls.
