Come, O best friend to speak the praise, bring thy soma‑drink for the beloved ally; with friendship the priests call you, bearing oblations, they invoke you.
Descend to us riding in your car, for verily yours is this ancient libation; unharness your beloved and friendly (horses) near to the sacred grass, for these offerers of the oblation present it to you.
MOUNTED upon thy chariot-seat approach us: thine is the Sorna-draught from days aforetime. Loose for the sacred grass thy dear companions. These men who bring oblation call thee hither.
