ātiṣṭhantaṃ pari viśve abhūṣañchriyo vasānaścarati svarociḥ mahattadvṛṣṇo asurasya nāmā viśvarūpo amṛtāni tasthau
All around stood he who adorned the world; splendour moves in his shining robe. Great is that Vrishṇa, the name of the Asura, all-formed; the immortals stood firm in the nectars.
They all ornamented (Indra) standing (in his car) and, clothed in beauty, he proceeds self-radiant; wonderful are the acts of that showerer (of benefits), the influencer (of consciences), who omniform, presides over the ambrosial (waters).
Even as he mounted up they all adorned him: self-luminous he travels clothed in splendour. That is the Bull's, the Asura's mighty figure: he, omniform, hath reached the eternal waters.
