acchā sindhuṃ mātṛtamāmayāsaṃ vipāśamurvīṃ subhagāmaganma vatsamiva mātarā saṃrihāṇe samānaṃ yonimanu saṃcarantī
He laid open the Sindhu, the motherly stream, the broad Pāśa river, lovely in flow; like a calf the mother wandered releasing birth, moving alike through the womb‑path.
I repaired to the most material river; I went to the wide auspicious Vipās', flowing together to a common receptacle, like parent cows (hastening to) caress the calf.
I have attained the most maternal River, we have approached Vipas, the broad, the blessed. Licking as 'twere their calf the pair of Mothers flow onward to their common home together.
