Those who increased your might and those who quickened the poisonous, the Maruts and Indra perform sacrifice with vigour. At mid‑day in praise let the thunder‑handed Soma be drunk with Rudras and the swift‑armed host.
These are the Maruts, Indra, who, worshipping your prowess, augment your withering force (by their aid); attended by the Rudras, drink, wielder of the thunder-bolt, and handsome-chinned, at the noon-day sacrifice.
Those who gave increase to thy strength and vigour; the Maruts singing forth thy might, O Indra. Drink thou, O fair of cheek, whose hand wields thunder, with Rudras banded, at our noon libation.
