गवा॑शिरं म॒न्थिन॑मिन्द्र शु॒क्रं पिबा॒ सोमं॑ ररि॒मा ते॒ मदा॑य । ब्र॒ह्म॒कृता॒ मारु॑तेना ग॒णेन॑ स॒जोषा॑ रु॒द्रैस्तृ॒पदा वृ॑षस्व
gavāśiraṃ manthinamindra śukraṃ pibā somaṃ rarimā te madāya brahmakṛtā mārutenā gaṇena sajoṣā rudraistṛpadā vṛṣasva
Drink the Soma, Indra, bright as the steed’s head of cows—imbibed by Maruts, made by Brahma’s doing; with the host of Maruts and Rudras, prosper and be of threefold might, bull of strength.
Indra, drink the Soma mixed with milk, with butter-milk, or fresh; we offer it for your exhilaration, associated with the devout company of the Maruts and the Rudras; drink it till you are satisfied.
Quaff it pure, meal-blent, mixt with milk, O Indra; we have poured forth the Soma for thy rapture. Knit with the prayer-fulfilling band of Maruts, yea, with the Rudras, drink till thou art sated;
