yajñenendramavasā cakre arvāgainaṃ sumnāya navyase vavṛtyām yaḥ stomebhirvāvṛdhe pūrvyebhiryo madhyamebhiruta nūtanebhiḥ
By sacrifice Indra established the steed, adorned the fresh spring of Soma, arraying anew his folk. He who increases by hymns of old, by middle and new ones, is he renown’d among men.
The worshipper, by his conservatory sacrifice, has made Indra present; may Ibring him to my presence to obtain new wealth, him who has been exalted by praise, whether ancient, medieval, or recent.
With sacrifice and wish have I brought Indra; still for new blessings may I turn him hither, Him magnified by ancient songs and praises, by lauds of later time and days yet recent.
