Like mighty ploughs they went forth; wise and unquenched by thirst they advanced: seven priests with one mind. They searched the paths of immortal prosperity and entered, paying honors to the life-bestower.
The seven intelligent ages (the aṅgirasas) having ascertained that (the cows) were concealed in the strong (cavern), propitiated (Indra) by mental devotion; they recovered them all by the path of sacrifice; for Indra, knowing (their pious acts), and offering them homage, entered (the cave).
The sages freed them from their firmbuilt prison: the seven priests drove them forward with their spirit. All holy Order's pathway they discovered he, full of knowledge, shared these deeds through worship.
