म॒ही यदि॑ धि॒षणा॑ शि॒श्नथे॒ धात्स॑द्यो॒वृधं॑ वि॒भ्वं१॒॑ रोद॑स्योः । गिरो॒ यस्मि॑न्ननव॒द्याः स॑मी॒चीर्विश्वा॒ इन्द्रा॑य॒ तवि॑षी॒रनु॑त्ताः
mahī yadi dhiṣaṇā śiśnathe dhātsadyovṛdhaṃ vibhvaṃ1 rodasyoḥ giro yasminnanavadyāḥ samīcīrviśvā indrāya taviṣīranuttāḥ
If the wise earth were sharp, the two breasts would swell rightly and increase the wealth of the two rivers. The mountains in which the unapproachable dwell, all these have been made strong by Indra praised and uplifted.
Inasmuch as our devout praise has appointed a thiriving ruler for the regulation of heaven and earth, to whom faultless and appropriate commendations (are due), therefore are all the energies of Indra spontaneously exerted.
What time the ample chalice had impelled him, swift waxing, vast, to pierce the earth and heaven,- Him in whom blameless songs are all united: all powers invincible belong to Indra.
