Indra, the breaker of herds, has yoked the cattle, conquering the fearful pasture; the straight-forward path he made clear, the cows went forth with calls, the priests and rites proclaiming.

The heavy cloud, the receptacle of water, dreading you its destroyer, opened out before (you had cast your bolt); then Indra made easily-traversed paths for the waters to issue, and desirable and loud sounding they proceeded to the (waters of the earth) invoked of many.

He who withheld the kine, in silence I yielded in fear before thy blow, O Indra. He made paths easy to drive forth the cattle. Loud-breathing praises helped the Much-invoked One.
