वि॒श्पतिं॑ य॒ह्वमति॑थिं॒ नरः॒ सदा॑ य॒न्तारं॑ धी॒नामु॒शिजं॑ च वा॒घता॑म् । अ॒ध्व॒राणां॒ चेत॑नं जा॒तवे॑दसं॒ प्र शं॑सन्ति॒ नम॑सा जू॒तिभि॑र्वृ॒धे
viśpatiṃ yahvamatithiṃ naraḥ sadā yantāraṃ dhīnāmuśijaṃ ca vāghatām adhvarāṇāṃ cetanaṃ jātavedasaṃ pra śaṃsanti namasā jūtibhirvṛdhe
The hospitable man invites the all‑lord, the guest; may he always restrain the hostile mind and the slanderer of speech. The conscious ones of the paths praise the born‑wise (Brhaspati) with homage and hymns in growth.
The leaderes (of holy rites) praise with prostration, for (the sake of) increase, the mighty lord of people, the guest (of men), the regulator eternally of acts, he desired of the priests, the exposition of sacrifices, Jātavedas, endowed with (divine) energies.
The Mighty One, Lord of the people and their guest, the leader of their thoughts, devoted Friend of priests, Our solemn rites' announcer, Jatavedas, men with worship ever praise, with urgings for their weal.
