अ॒न्तर्दू॒तो रोद॑सी द॒स्म ई॑यते॒ होता॒ निष॑त्तो॒ मनु॑षः पु॒रोहि॑तः । क्षयं॑ बृ॒हन्तं॒ परि॑ भूषति॒ द्युभि॑र्दे॒वेभि॑र॒ग्निरि॑षि॒तो धि॒याव॑सुः
antardūto rodasī dasma īyate hotā niṣatto manuṣaḥ purohitaḥ kṣayaṃ bṛhantaṃ pari bhūṣati dyubhirdevebhiragniriṣito dhiyāvasuḥ
The inner messenger, the tearful, the ten‑fold one, is invoked — the sacrificer appointed among men, the priest in front. He adorns the great decay with growth; with the heavens and gods Agni the seer bestows riches and the riches of thought.
The graceful messenger (of the gods) goes between heaven and earth; sitting (on the altar), and plural ced before men, he ornaments, the spacious chambers (of sacrifice) with his rays, animated by the gods, and affluent in wisdom.
He, wondrous envoy, goes between the earth and heaven, firm seated as the Herald, great High Priest of men. He compassethwith rays the lofty dwelling-place, Agni, sent forward by the Gods, enriched with piayer.
