सु॒नि॒र्मथा॒ निर्म॑थितः सुनि॒धा निहि॑तः क॒विः । अग्ने॑ स्वध्व॒रा कृ॑णु दे॒वान्दे॑वय॒ते य॑ज
sunirmathā nirmathitaḥ sunidhā nihitaḥ kaviḥ agne svadhvarā kṛṇu devāndevayate yaja
Well churned, well beaten down, laid low, the poet is set. Agni, make the offerings' doors; create the gods, proclaim the godlike rites to be performed.
Agni, who is pronounced by reverential attrition, and deposited with reverential care, and who are far-seeing, render our rites (exempt from defects), and worship the gods (on behalf) of the devout worshipper.
With strong attrition rubbed to life, laid down with careful hand, a Sage, Agni, make sacrifices good, and for the pious bring the Gods.
