aśvo na krandañjanibhiḥ samidhyate vaiśvānaraḥ kuśikebhiryugeyuge sa no agniḥ suvīryaṃ svaśvyaṃ dadhātu ratnamamṛteṣu jāgṛviḥ
The steed neighs and the universal man is invoked with chariot-men and Kushikas in age after age. May Agni grant us heroic strength, our own steeds, and bestow jewels among the immortals.
Vaiśvānara is kindled in every age by the Kuśikas as a neighing foal (is nourished) by its mother; may that Agni, vigilant among the immortals, give us wealth with excellent offspring and good horses.
Age after age Vaisvanara, neighing like a horse, is kindled with the women by the Kusikas. May Agni, he who wakes among Immortal Gods, grant us heroic strength and wealth in noble steeds.
