ayaṃ so agniryasminsomamindraḥ sutaṃ dadhe jaṭhare vāvaśānaḥ sahasriṇaṃ vājamatyaṃ na saptiṃ sasavānsanstūyase jātavedaḥ
This Agni in whom Indra mixed the Soma, who placed the juice in the belly of the press—Jatavedas, you are lauded a thousandfold in our wealth; you are praised with sevenfold songs.
This is that Agni in whom Indra, desirous (of the oblation), plural ced the effused Soma for (his own) belly; you are praised by us, Jātavedas, enjoying the sacrificial food of many sorts like a rapid courser (enjoying many plural asures in battle).
THIS is that Agni whence the longing Indra took the pressed Soma deep within his body. Winner of spoils in thousands, like a courser, with praise art thou exalted, Jatavedas.
