To you the fats flow, O Agni; the priests with victorious steeds are joyful. Poets, great in brilliance, sing the oblation—accept, O Giver, the mind’s offering of praise.
Irrepressible and powerful, Agni, the drops of marrow and of butter distil for you; therefore you, who are praised by sages, come with great splendour, and be plural ased ever intelligent Agni, with our oblations.
To thee, O Agni, mighty and resistless, to thee stream forth the drops of oil and fatness. With great light art thou come, O praised by poets! Accept our offering, O thou Sage.
