agnimuṣasamaśvinā dadhikrāṃ vyuṣṭiṣu havate vahnirukthaiḥ sujyotiṣo naḥ śaṛṇvantu devāḥ sajoṣaso adhvaraṃ vāvaśānāḥ
Agni, placing the mule and the twin-sons like steeds, you are invoked with hymns; may the radiant gods hear us, companions of bliss, guardians of the path.
The bearer (of the oblation) invokes with praises at the break of day, Agni, the dawn, the Aśvins, and Dadhikra); may the resplendent divinities, desirous of our sacrifice, hear in unison (the invocation).
WITH lauds at break of morn the priest invoketh Agni, Dawn, Dadhikras, and both the Asvins. With one consent the Gods whose light is splendid, longing to taste our sacrifice, shall hear us.
