May the sacrificer, pure, unpaired, free from malice, the kindler of the mind, the wide-striking (Agni), the charioteer — not strange in form — be shown to the worthy man; may we offer this to the bearer of truth.
We solicit wealth of the adorable (Agni), the invoker of the gods, the pure, the single-minded, the munificent, the commendable, the beholder of all, who is many-coloured like a chariot, elegant in form, and always friendly to mankind.
The cheerful Priest, the pure, in whom no guile is found, Friend of the House, praise-worthy, dear to all mankind, Fair to behold for beauty like a splendid car,- Agni the Friend of men we ever seek for wealth.
