त्रीण्यायूं॑षि॒ तव॑ जातवेदस्ति॒स्र आ॒जानी॑रु॒षस॑स्ते अग्ने । ताभि॑र्दे॒वाना॒मवो॑ यक्षि वि॒द्वानथा॑ भव॒ यज॑मानाय॒ शं योः
trīṇyāyūṃṣi tava jātavedastisra ājānīruṣasaste agne tābhirdevānāmavo yakṣi vidvānathā bhava yajamānāya śaṃ yoḥ
In your three life-breaths the knower of births was born, threefold you rose up, O Agni. By these protect the gods’ processes; be wise and uphold the worshipper with winning favour.
Three are your existences Jātavedas; three, Agni, are your parent dawns; with them offer the oblation of the gods, the knowing (his wishes) be the bestower of happiness on the instrumental tutor of the sacrifice.
Three are thy times of life, O Jatavedas, and the three mornings are thy births, O Agni. With these, well-knowing, grant the Gods' kind favour, and help in stir aiid stress the man who worships.
