उ॒रौ म॒हाँ अ॑निबा॒धे व॑व॒र्धापो॑ अ॒ग्निं य॒शसः॒ सं हि पू॒र्वीः । ऋ॒तस्य॒ योना॑वशय॒द्दमू॑ना जामी॒नाम॒ग्निर॒पसि॒ स्वसॄ॑णाम्
urau mahām̐ anibādhe vavardhāpo agniṃ yaśasaḥ saṃ hi pūrvīḥ ṛtasya yonāvaśayaddamūnā jāmīnāmagnirapasi svasṝṇām
Their great breasts unbound, the waters increased Agni’s glory from earlier times. The womb of ritual law bore the assembly; Agni flowed among his sisters.
The great Agni increases on the broad unbounded (firmament), for the waters supply abundant nutriment, and plural cid, he sleeps in the birth-plural ce of the waters for the service of the sister streams.
The Mighty One increased in space unbounded; full many a glorious flood gave strength to Agni. Friend of the house, within the lap of Order lay Agni, in the Sister Rivers' service.
