Today I harness the chariot, the noble steer of men, to make release for you. I call the chorus with honeyed song; come let Soma be drunk like the mighty prize.
Yoke today, Aśvins, your rolling car conveying (you), the leaders (of the rite); and setting yu down before us; mix the oblations with the sweet juice; come you are affluent with (abundant) food, and drink the Soma.
Yoke, O ye Twain, to-day your hero-bearing car, swift-moving hitherward: your loosing-place is here. Mix the oblations, then come hither with the meath, and drink the Soma, ye rich in abundant strength.
