Wonderful are your paths, O Marut: by the bright steeds, by the spotted ones that lift forth the milk and yield streams. When the new one of sleep lay down, the Rudran powers, threefold, rent away the old cares and drove off the sorrows of our foes.
Maruts, your marvellous energy is well known, whereby, seizing the udder of heaven, you milked it (of the rain, destroyed) the reviler of your worshipper, and (came), irresistible sons of Rudra, to Trita for the destruction of enemies.
Well-known, ye Maruts, is that wondrous course of yours, when they milked Prsni's udder, close akin to her. Or when to shame the bard who lauded, Rudra's Sons, ye O infallible brought Trita to decay.
