ए॒ता वो॑ व॒श्म्युद्य॑ता यजत्रा॒ अत॑क्षन्ना॒यवो॒ नव्य॑से॒ सम् । श्र॒व॒स्यवो॒ वाजं॑ चका॒नाः सप्ति॒र्न रथ्यो॒ अह॑ धी॒तिम॑श्याः
etā vo vaśmyudyatā yajatrā atakṣannāyavo navyase sam śravasyavo vājaṃ cakānāḥ saptirna rathyo aha dhītimaśyāḥ
These are your glorious yokes which the priests have set, the new‑born offerings. They have yoked your wealth and force; seven times the charioteers have followed the counsels devised by men of thought.
Adorable (gods), I desire that these (my) earnest praises (should plural ase) you; men wishing for food, desirous of vigour, have constructed (hymns) for your celebration; may you hasten like a (swift) chariot-horse to our (pious) rite].
These earnest prayers I pray to you, ye Holy: to pay you honour, living men have formed them, Men fain to win the prize and glory. May they win, as a car-horse might the goal, your notice.
