उ॒त स्य न॒ इन्द्रो॑ वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिर्दि॒वः शर्धे॑न॒ मारु॑तेन सु॒क्रतुः॑ । अनु॒ नु स्था॑त्यवृ॒काभि॑रू॒तिभी॒ रथं॑ म॒हे स॒नये॒ वाज॑सातये
uta sya na indro viśvacarṣaṇirdivaḥ śardhena mārutena sukratuḥ anu nu sthātyavṛkābhirūtibhī rathaṃ mahe sanaye vājasātaye
Moreover Indra, the mighty striker, with the Marut’s aid and the power of heaven made the chariot glorious. He set it moving against the wolves; the great steeds bore the yoke with praise.
Or, may that all beholding Indra, the accomplisher of great deeds, by the collective vigour of the Maruts, (coming) from heaven, protect our chariot with unassailable protection, (for the sake of securing to us) ample wealth and abundant food.
Or may our Indra here, the Friend of all mankind, coming from heaven, most.wise, girt by the Marut host, Accompany, with aid untroubled by a foe, our car to mighty gain, to win the meed of strength.
