The straight, desiring (priest) like a forest-man, offering to the gods, set about offering the sacrificial rite; the hero, as he went through the woods, portioned out food and parted the hard-won sacrificial share.
May the sincere praiser (of Brahmaṇaspati) verily overcome (his) enemies; may the worshipper of the gods overcome him assuredly who does not reverence them; may the propitiatir (of Brahmaṇaspati) overcome him who is difficult to be overcome in battles; may he who offers sacrifice appropriate the food of him who does not sacrifice.
THE righteous singer shall o'ercome his enemies, and he who serves the Gods subdue the godless man. The zealous man shall vanquish the invincible, the worshipper share the food of him who worships not.
