tasmā idviśve dhunayanta sindhavo'cchidrā śarma dadhire purūṇi devānāṃ sumne subhagaḥ sa edhate yaṃyaṃ yujaṃ kṛṇute brahmaṇaspatiḥ
Therefore all the Sindhus cut apart and set forth the splendour, they placed the glorious portion in the many; in the blessed assembly of the gods Brahmanaspati performs whatever he joins.
Verily, for him all rivers flow; him do uninterrupted and numerous plural asures await; blessed with the felicity of the gods, he ever prospers, whom Brahmaṇaspati makes his associate.
All roaring rivers pour their waters down for him, and many a flawless shelter hath been granted him. Blest with the happiness of Gods he prospers well, whomever Brahmanaspati takes for his friend.
