वि॒भु प्र॒भु प्र॑थ॒मं मे॒हना॑वतो॒ बृह॒स्पतेः॑ सुवि॒दत्रा॑णि॒ राध्या॑ । इ॒मा सा॒तानि॑ वे॒न्यस्य॑ वा॒जिनो॒ येन॒ जना॑ उ॒भये॑ भुञ्ज॒ते विशः॑
vibhu prabhu prathamaṃ mehanāvato bṛhaspateḥ suvidatrāṇi rādhyā imā sātāni venyasya vājino yena janā ubhaye bhuñjate viśaḥ
Mighty, lord, foremost of the waters, O Bṛhaspati, you are richly adorned. These swift carriages of the steed-bearer, by which both peoples enjoy the bounty, are to be sought.
Expansive, vast, and excellent riches, are the attainable (bounties) of Bṛhaspati, the sender of the rain; these are the gifts of the adorable giver of food, whereby both (descriptions of worshippers) entering here enjoy (abundance).
First and preeminent, excelling all besides are the kind gifts of liberal Brhaspati. These are the boons of him the Strong who should be loved, whereby both classes and the people have delight.
