tava śriye vyajihīta parvato gavāṃ gotramudasṛjo yadaṅgiraḥ indreṇa yujā tamasā parīvṛtaṃ bṛhaspate nirapāmaubjo arṇavam
By your glory the mountain yielded, the herds and lineages sprang forth as Angiras fashioned them. Join, Indra-like, the enveloped darkness; Brihaspati, bring forth the sea of waters untrodden.
When Bṛhaspati, descendant of Aṅgiras, for your glory, Parvata had concealed the herd o fkine, you did set them free, and with thine associate, Indra, did send down the ocean of water which had been enveloped by darkness.
The mountain, for thy glory, cleft itself apart when, Angiras! thou openedst the stall of kine. Thoul O Brhaspati, with Indra for ally didst hurl down water-floods which gloom had compa-sed round.
