तमु॒क्षमा॑णं॒ रज॑सि॒ स्व आ दमे॑ च॒न्द्रमि॑व सु॒रुचं॑ ह्वा॒र आ द॑धुः । पृश्न्याः॑ पत॒रं चि॒तय॑न्तम॒क्षभिः॑ पा॒थो न पा॒युं जन॑सी उ॒भे अनु॑
tamukṣamāṇaṃ rajasi sva ā dame candramiva surucaṃ hvāra ā dadhuḥ pṛśnyāḥ pataraṃ citayantamakṣabhiḥ pātho na pāyuṃ janasī ubhe anu
They, beholding that shining dust in the realm of splendour, greeted it as the moon bestows its glow. They thought on the broad paths and the regions, contemplating the courses; both peoples did not allow the way to be prevented.
They have plural ced him in his solitary dwelling, who is shedding moisture upon the earth; resplendent as gold, traversing the firmament, animate with flames; and pervading the two parents (of all things, heaven and earth), like refreshing water.
Him have they set in his own dwelling, in the vault, like the Moon waxing, fulgent, in the realm of air. Bird of the firmament, observant with his eyes, guard of the place as 'twere, looking to Gods and men.
