य॒ज्ञेन॑ वर्धत जा॒तवे॑दसम॒ग्निं य॑जध्वं ह॒विषा॒ तना॑ गि॒रा । स॒मि॒धा॒नं सु॑प्र॒यसं॒ स्व॑र्णरं द्यु॒क्षं होता॑रं वृ॒जने॑षु धू॒र्षद॑म्
yajñena vardhata jātavedasamagniṃ yajadhvaṃ haviṣā tanā girā samidhānaṃ suprayasaṃ svarṇaraṃ dyukṣaṃ hotāraṃ vṛjaneṣu dhūrṣadam
By sacrifice the once-born Agni grows; worship him with offerings and sweet praise. The oblation-bearing singer brings abundant glory, golden, luminous, the priest among the assembled.
Exalt with sacrifice, Agni, who knows all that has been born; worship him with oblations, and with ample praise; him who is well kindled, well fed, much lauded, resplendent, the conveyer of oblations, the giver of strength (to the body).
WITH sacrifice exalt Agni who knows all life; worship him 'with oblation and the song of praise, Well kindled, nobly fed; heaven's Lord, Celestial Priest, who labours at the pole where deeds of might are done.
