अपा॑य्य॒स्यान्ध॑सो॒ मदा॑य॒ मनी॑षिणः सुवा॒नस्य॒ प्रय॑सः । यस्मि॒न्निन्द्रः॑ प्र॒दिवि॑ वावृधा॒न ओको॑ द॒धे ब्र॑ह्म॒ण्यन्त॑श्च॒ नरः॑
apāyyasyāndhaso madāya manīṣiṇaḥ suvānasya prayasaḥ yasminnindraḥ pradivi vāvṛdhāna oko dadhe brahmaṇyantaśca naraḥ
He removed blindness, he gave splendour—wise heroes gave the joyous gift. In whom Indra strengthened the earth and expanded the heights, he set the path and placed the sacred law among men.
It has been partaken (by Indra) for his exhilaration, of this agreeable (sacrificial) food, the libation of his devout (worshipper); thriving by which ancient (Soma),he has bestowed a (fitting) dwelling, where the adoring conductors (of the ceremony) abide.
DRAUGHTS of this sweet juice have been drunk for rapture, of the wise Soma-presser's offered dainty, Wherein, grown mighty in the days aforetime, Indra hath found delight, and men who worship.
