Not for Indra is friendship with those women who are our daughters by the southern gift. In the elder and in the choicest wombs, may they bear offspring; may we be often victors.
Never may my friendship with Indra be disunited; may his liberality (ever) yield us (our desires); may we be within the excellent defence of (his protecting) arms; may we be victorious in every battle.
Ne'er be my love from Indra disunited still may his liberal Milch-cow yield us treasure. So may we under his supreme protection, safe in his arms, succeed in each forth-going.
