सास्मा॒ अरं॑ प्रथ॒मं स द्वि॒तीय॑मु॒तो तृ॒तीयं॒ मनु॑षः॒ स होता॑ । अ॒न्यस्या॒ गर्भ॑म॒न्य ऊ॑ जनन्त॒ सो अ॒न्येभिः॑ सचते॒ जेन्यो॒ वृषा॑
sāsmā araṃ prathamaṃ sa dvitīyamuto tṛtīyaṃ manuṣaḥ sa hotā anyasyā garbhamanya ū jananta so anyebhiḥ sacate jenyo vṛṣā
He placed the first as ours, the second as another, the third as human — so was the offering made. One bore another's womb, another begot offspring; other beings sowed and engendered pasture-producing cattle.
That (sacrifice) is sufficient for him, (Indra), whether (offered) for the first, the second, or the third time; it is the bearer (of good) to man; other (priests) engender the embryo of a different (rite), but this victorious (sacrifice), the showerer (of benefits) combines with other (ceremonies).
This is prepared for him the first, the second, and the third time: he is man's Priest and Herald. Others get offspring of another parent he goeth, as a noble Bull, with others.
