adhvaryavaḥ payasodharyathā goḥ somebhirīṃ pṛṇatā bhojamindram vedāhamasya nibhṛtaṃ ma etadditsantaṃ bhūyo yajataściketa
The Adhvaryus, like cows bearing milk, filled Indra’s feast with Soma; I know the sacred hymns; grant this, O praised one, again as the sacrificer desires.
Priests, fill the bountiful Indra with libations as the udder of a cow is filled with milk; so shall the adorable (Indra) fully comprehend (the liberality) of him who desires to present the gift, and shall say (to him), I acknowledge the secret (virtue) of this my (draught).
As the cow's udder teems with milk, Adhvaryus, so fill with Soma Indra, liberal giver.
