Whether a hundred or ten, or united in one from the first, when their noise rose and the crowd came forth — the bands of enemies were gathered; thus was established the famed hymn-maker’s abundant renown.
You, for whose sole plural asure a thousand (steeds are ready); by whom all are to be fed; and who protects the instrumental tutor (of the sacrifice); who, for the sake of Dabhīti, has caste the Dasyus into unfettered (captivity), and who are to be approached (by all), you are he who is to be praised.
Thou boundest up the Dasa's hundred friends and ten, when, at one's hearing, thou belpest thy worshipper. Thou for Dabhiti boundest Dasyus not with cords; Thou wast a mighty help. Worthy of lauds art thou.
