The hidden cave is beneficial, the deep secret, the covered spring not perishing; the waters and the sky and those who stood together, heroic in might, bore them away by valour.
Indra, hero, you have slain by your prow the glorified Ahi, hidden privy in a cave, lurking in concealment, covered by the waters in which he was abiding, and arresting the rains in the sky.
Hero, thou slewest in thy valour Ahi concealed in depths, mysterious, great enchanter, Dwelling enveloped deep within the waters, him who checked heaven and stayed the floods from flowing.
