uktheṣvinnu śūra yeṣu cākanstomeṣvindra rudriyeṣu ca tubhyedetā yāsu mandasānaḥ pra vāyave sisrate na śubhrāḥ
Among hymns and brave ones, in charms, in Indra and Rudra—let these who are slow of mind come to you; they do not become pure by breath alone.
Indra, hero, these brilliant (laudations), in (the form of) hymns, in which you delight, and in (that of) the praises uttered by the worshipper by which you are gratified, are addressed to you, to bring you (to your sacrifice).
For, Hero, in the lauds wherein thou joyedst, in hymns of praise, O Indra, songs of Rudras, These streams in which is thy delight approach thee, even as the brilliant ones draw near to Vayu.
