You, Indra, and the priests set the mind on the earth, abiding by the rule in the forest. We meditate on your praised might; may we soon be allies in the battle.
May we, your pious (worshipper), abide in you; approaching you with devotion, may we enjoy (the reward of) our adoration; desirous of protection, we meditate your glorification; may we ever be (thought worthy) of the gift of your treasures.
Singers have we become with thee, O Indra: may we serve duly and prepare devotion. Seeking thy help we meditate thy praises: may we at once enjoy thy gift of riches.
