अरो॑रवी॒द्वृष्णो॑ अस्य॒ वज्रोऽमा॑नुषं॒ यन्मानु॑षो नि॒जूर्वा॑त् । नि मा॒यिनो॑ दान॒वस्य॑ मा॒या अपा॑दयत्पपि॒वान्सु॒तस्य॑
aroravīdvṛṣṇo asya vajro'mānuṣaṃ yanmānuṣo nijūrvāt ni māyino dānavasya māyā apādayatpapivānsutasya
The bolt of that Vr̥ṣṇi reached like a man, the manlike wind struck; the magician of the demon could not cast away the deception of the son.
The thunderbolt of the showerer roared aloud, when (Indra), the friend of man, sought to slay the enemy of mankind. Drinking the Soma, he (Indra), baffled the devices of the guileful Dānava.
Loud roared the mighty Hero's bolt of thunder, when he, the Friend of man, burnt up the monster, And, having drunk his fill of flowing Soma, baffled the guileful Danava's devices.
