Who has fashioned the wondrous mixture, O healer — wide‑mouthed, full of foam? Whose was the gift in the lair: the chisel, the bolt, the Vritra‑slayer?
What marvellous (wealth), comprehensive and laudable, do you, Indra, knowing (what is needed),bestow upon us for our advantage? What gift (has been made to us) upon the development of his strength? Hefabricated the Vṛtra- slaying thunderbolt, and let the waters flow.
WHAT Splendid One, Loud-voiced, Farstriding, dost thou, well knowing, urge us to exalt with praises? What give we him? When his might dawned, he fashioned the Vrtra-slaying bolt, and sent us waters.
