आ नो॑ द्र॒प्सा मधु॑मन्तो विश॒न्त्विन्द्र॑ दे॒ह्यधि॑रथं स॒हस्र॑म् । नि षी॑द हो॒त्रमृ॑तु॒था य॑जस्व दे॒वान्दे॑वापे ह॒विषा॑ सपर्य
ā no drapsā madhumanto viśantvindra dehyadhirathaṃ sahasram ni ṣīda hotramṛtuthā yajasva devāndevāpe haviṣā saparya
May the sweet rains, flowing to us, enter with Indra a thousandfold; sit down, O priest, and perform the rite; offer the oblation together with the gods.
May the sweet drops of rain fall upon us; grant us, Indra, a thousand chariot-loads. Sit down, Devāpi,to your duties as Hotā; in due season sacrifice to the gods, worship them with oblations. functions as Hotā. He has brought down from the upper to the lower ocean the rain waters of heaven.
Let the sweet drops descend on us, O Indra: give us enough to lade a thousand wagons. Sit to thy Hotar task; pay worship duly, and serve the Gods, Devapi, with oblation.
