You have been praised before by Indra and the priests with hymns and offerings. You make Hari; I free your world—let Hari-born be invoked, Hari the praised.
Indra, with yellow locks, when praised by ancient worshippers, you did desire the oblation; you whoare manifested of a golden hue desire your universal praise, your peculiar and delightful (sacrificial) food.
Thou, thou, when praised by men who sacrificed of old. hadst pleasure in their lauds, O Indra golden-haired. All that befits thy song of praise thou welcornest, the perfect pleasant gift, O Golden-hued from birth.
