Vasiṣṭha sends the heavenly, firm-eyed aerial one from mid-space. O Night, attend to the well-done one; be established and walk, my heart grows warm.
(Purūravā). I, Vasiṣṭha, bring under subjection Ūrvaśī who fills the firmament (with lustre) andmeasures out the rain. May (Purūravā), the bestower of the auspicious rite, abide near you; come back-- myheart is burning.
I, her best love, call Urvasi to meet me, her who fills air and measures out the region. Let the gift brought by piety approach thee. Turn thou to me again: my heart is troubled.
