For at the order of Rta the heavens and earth bow; salute to the mind that is excellent for me. Indra, Mitra, Varuna and the skilled Savitar, the mighty, the purifier, the adept.
The vast heavven, the spacious firmament, the glorious unbounded earth, (do) homage (to the Agni)of the sacrifice; and Indra, Mitra, Varuṇa, Bhaga, and Savitā, whose strength is purified, unite to recognize (hisexcellence). the circumambient (Indra) sweeping over a wide space, roaring in the belly (of the firmament), sprinkles the wholeworld.
For then the net of Law, Dyaus, and the wide expanse, Earth, Worship, and Devotion meet for highest praise, Varuna, Indra, Mitra were of one accord, and Savitar and Bhaga, Lords of holy might.
