O skilful one, with skilful rites you are the might of ritual; O Agni, O poet, you know all. You destroy the wealth of the Vasus alone, and you are that very heaven and earth that are nourished.
You, Agni, are vigorous with vigour, you are active with acts (of piety), you are wise with wisdom, knowing all things. You are the dispenser of wealth, you abide alone, you are lord of the treasures of heaven and earth.
Most sage with insight, passing skilful with thy powers art thou, O Agni, wise with wisdom, knowing all. As Vasu, thou alone art Lord of all good things, of all the treasures that the heavens and earth produce.
